Meanwhile, Debb Eaton, the first person to get the boot on Survivor II, has told Bryant Gumbel that she was voted off the show because she refused to participate in "X-rated" conversations that she regarded as "intrusive." She maintained that her ouster came as no surprise. "You know, what happened is I separated myself simply because of the conversations," she said. "I didn't fit in and then the last day, I thought that I was dead. I thought that everyone had already decided against me." She also defended her current romantic involvement with her stepson, saying that she never had a mother-son relationship with him.
