CNN's entertainment reporter Jim Moret is expected to join a number of high-profile news reporters and anchors who are being let go as part of a major overhaul of the network, the New York Daily News reported today.
Moret, who hosted the now defunct Showbiz Today out of Los Angeles (one report said that half the L.A. staff had been fired), will be joining the outcast ranks that now include Tony Guida, who hosted Entrepreneurs Only, business news anchors Bill Tucker and Prudence Solomon, weekend Washington anchor Gene Randall, as well as Chicago-based Ceci Rodgers and Atlanta-based Dan Ronan.
The newspaper also said that CNN's senior White House correspondent John King is likely to leave the network when his contract expires in three months
