Director Keeps Missing Redford
CHRISTINE LAHTI keeps coming to the SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL to see ROBERT REDFORD - but keeps missing him.
Her directing debut MY FIRST MISTER opened Redford's Festival on Thursday night (18JAN01) and she joked with the audience that her first trip to the independent film event had an ulterior motive. She joked, "Truth be told, I was actually just hoping to run into Robert Redford!"
Unfortunately for Lahti Redford will miss this year's (01) festival because he's shooting the SPY GAME with BRAD PITT in Morocco and London. Lahti pledged, "OK, I'll be back." (CPT/WNWCGG)
