Pop queen MADONNA married her beau GUY RITCHIE in a lavish ceremony at Scotland's SKIBO CASTLE last night (22DEC00).

As superstar pals looked on, the 42-year-old singer tied the knot with British film director Guy, 32, just after 6pm. The star-studded guest list celebrated late into the night as the couple's family and friends enjoyed a ceilidh after having eaten a Scottish-themed banquet.

Guests including STING and GWYNETH PALTROW. Madge's ex CARLOS LEONE and STELLA MCCARTNEY looked on as the singer tied the knot with the LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELLS director.

The remote wedding venue was decked out with $75,000 (£50,000) of flowers including lilies and roses bought from a local shop and Guy walked up the aisle resplendent in a traditional kilt.

Dozens of guards with thermal imaging gear patrolled the castle's 7,500-acre grounds before the wedding. The building itself was swept for bugs and hidden cameras.
