Pugnacious cable moguls Brian Roberts and his father Ralph Roberts, who own the No. 3 cable company, Comcast, are in talks to buy AT&T's cable systems, the New York Post reported today (Monday), citing unnamed sources. If consummated, the deal would make Comcast the largest cable company in the country. "Comcast feels they need to make a big transaction so they can be a big player," one source told the Post."If they did this deal, it would make them by far the biggest and strongest."
