Sexy actress ANGELINA JOLIE dashed to New York at the weekend (09DEC00) to put the finishing touches to her Christmas re- marriage.

The actress made the most of a break in filming action movie TOMB RAIDER in London to meet up with her husband BILLY BOB THORNTON for a night on the eve of the premiere of his new film, ALL THE PRETTY HORSES. And they spent the night talking about their upcoming nuptials. The couple wed in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this year (00) after a whirlwind romance, but due to filming commitments they've been forced to spend most of the year apart.

Thornton says, "She flew in and spent a little time with me. Ten minutes with her is worth six years with anybody else. I've been nervous since the day I was born and I'm not nervous any more - that's her." The couple are planning to wed on the lawn of their new Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, home, which is currently being renovated for the event.

And Thornton admits the ceremony will be anything but normal. He says, "This time I'm going to be the bride and she'll be the groom." The actor and director also revealed his distant wife didn't fly into New York empty-handed at the weekend. He adds, "She got me these pink panties with a big bow on them." (KL/WNV/RGS)
