Hollywood legend ROBERT REDFORD has attacked TINSELTOWN's fascination with cosmetic surgery.

THE HORSE WHISPERER star, 63, says he will never go under the knife to improve his looks, and those that do are vain and insecure.

Speaking about what he dubs the "sick obsession", he says, "Everyone is getting pinched, lifted and pulled. It isn't right. It's just not my style. "People should preserve their time in history. I'm happy to make the best of what I've got. So what if my face is falling apart?"
