After failing to do any better on Monday than it did on Wednesdays, Titans has been axed by NBC. The new Aaron Spelling drama has averaged only a 3.3 rating and a 9 share for the season.

Four unaired episodes are likely to be aired in the Monday-night spot over the next month, reports indicated. In an article under the headline "We Wuz Wrong!" New York Post TV writer Don Kaplan recalled today (Thursday) that he had labeled Titans a "Can't Miss Show" when it debuted. "Well," Kaplan wrote, "you can't get 'em all right."

Several published reports also noted that NBC is also about ready to dump The Michael Richards show.
