Mark Ruffalo is set to reprise his role as Bruce Banner in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. It is currently unknown what role Banner will play in the story or whether he’ll also be portraying his alternate green persona.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will see Tom Holland return as the titular hero, his fourth outing in a standalone adventure. Zendaya is also set to return, as well as Jacob Batalon as Ned. Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas are also set for roles in the new film which will kick off shooting in London in July.

The report follows on from one last week indicating the film may be featuring Scorpion, Boomerang, and Tombstone as its villains. Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas have been cast, while Michael Mando is apparently in talks to return as Mac Gargan/Scorpion

The last time fans saw Ruffalo’s Banner was in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law on Disney+. In that show, a car crash caused his cousin, Jennifer Walters, to get Hulk powers after being exposed to his blood.
