Movie hunk BRAD PITT is set to play a star chef in new black comedy, SEARED.

The 36-year-old husband of FRIENDS star, JENNIFER ANISTON, will play a cook who gets mixed up with drink, drugs and the Mafia.

A source says, "It's based on true stories." It is said to have been inspired by a book called KITCHEN CONFIDENTIAL, by American chef ANTHONY BOURDAIN. (RGS/WNTST/PDD)
