Actor Tom Holland will star in Christopher Nolan's newest film, joining Matt Damon in the secret project at Universal Pictures.

Holland will reportedly join Matt Damon in the ensemble of the as-yet-untitled, shrouded-in-secrecy picture that’s rumored to be in the espionage genre. This will be Holland and Nolan’s first time working together. The film is expected to start filming in early 2025 and is scheduled to be released on July 17, 2026.

Nolan is coming off the back of his Oscar-winning success with Oppenheimer, and while there are currently no details available of what his next movie is about, there is already a lot of anticipation building about it.

Holland is best known for playing the MCU’s Peter Parker in the "Avengers" films and his own trilogy, most recently in 2021’s "Spider-Man: No Way Home". He recently wrapped a London stage production of "Romeo & Juliet" opposite Francesca Amewudah-Rivers. He has a fourth "Spider-Man" film in the works with director Destin Daniel Cretton.
