Alison Brie is set to star as villain Evil-Lyn in the live-action 'Masters of the Universe' film that is set for release in 2026.

Masters of the Universe will star Nicholas Galitzine as Prince Adam/He-Man and Camila Mendes as Captain Teela. The project has been in the works for quite some time with a revolving door of directors, writers, and actors, but at long last, it seems like it’s finally happening. Travis Knight will direct from a script by Chris Butler, with initial drafts penned by David Callaham, and Aaron & Adam Nee.

Evil-Lyn is a malevolent sorceress who serves as Skeletor’s second in command. Extremely powerful, she secretly hopes to overthrow her master and rule over Eternia herself. Meg Foster played Evil-Lyn in the 1987 Masters of the Universe movie.

Plot details for Masters of the Universe are largely being kept under wraps, but it is said to center "on the character of Prince Adam (Galitzine) of Eternia who, thanks to his Power Sword, turns into the muscular He-Man and is imbued with superhuman strength and abilities. With his assortment of allies, he defends the planet from the evil Skeletor and his armies."
