Oscar-winning producer/director Jim Sheridan (My Left Foot, The Boxer) is trying to sign Ewan McGregor and Kate Winslet to star in his upcoming movie East of Harlem, the online site Showbiz Ireland reported today (Friday).

"I've been working on the script for the past few months and now it's ready to cast. I hope to get the two of them for the film," the Irish director said. The Irish-American production will present the story of an Irish couple who move to New York and start over, Sheridan said.
