Residents from bride-to-be CATHERINE ZETA JONES' home city are betting on her wedding to actor MICHAEL DOUGLAS turning into a disaster.

Bookmakers in Swansea, Wales have laid down odds on various mishaps occurring when the couple exchange vows at the PLAZA HOTEL in New York today (18NOV00).

Rather than keeping their fingers crossed for Catherine, 31 and Michael, 56, Welsh gamblers are putting their money on mishaps such as; baby DYLAN throwing up on Catherine's dress, the guests getting food poisoning and the wedding cake collapsing.

A spokesman for betting agency JACK BROWN says, "Everyone knows that no matter how well you plan a wedding there's always a chance that something will go wrong. "But we do wish the happy couple the best of luck for the day."
