Reflecting the stock market's sinking regard for companies with ".com" included in their names, Boca Raton, FL-based Hollywood.com is changing its name to Hollywood Media Corp.
In an interview with the Internet site LocalBusiness.com Tuesday, company chairman Mitchell Rubenstein acknowledged that there is now "a stigma in the marketplace" toward dot-com businesses.
The company presumably will continue to use the Hollywood.com moniker (formerly Hollwood Online) on its Web site, which is heavily promoted in movie theaters.
