Rebecca Ferguson is in final talks to star in Skydance's revenge thriller "Best Served Cold" based on Joe Abercrombie's bestselling book of the same name.

The film is based on the Joe Abercrombie book of the same name and tells the story of legendary mercenary Monza Murcatto, who finds herself on a quest for revenge after a massive betrayal. "Best Served Cold" is written by Abercrombie, who previously worked with Tim Miller on a segment of "Love, Death + Robots."

Ferguson is probably best known for her roles in the "Mission: Impossible" and "Dune" franchises. However, her most recent project, "Silo", has been a solid addition to Apple TV+, earning rave reviews.

A three-time Emmy winner, as well as an Oscar and DGA Award nominee, Tim Miller is best known for helming the original Deadpool and for creating the Netflix anthology series Love, Death & Robots. He directed and exec produced Terminator: Dark Fate and is also an EP on Paramount’s Sonic the Hedgehog films, including a planned third installment. Miller most recently took over reshoots on Lionsgate’s adaptation of the video game Borderlands following Eli Roth’s exit from the project.
