Amazon Studios has added Priyanka Chopra Jonas to the cast of the upcoming spy movie Heads of State, marking her second big role for Amazon Studios after her casting for the upcoming action series Citadel.

Nobody filmmaker Ilya Naishuller is directing off a script by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, with an initial draft by Harrison Query based on Query’s original idea. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film, which we first told you about, is being described as Air Force One meets Midnight Run.

Cena also addressed the casting of Chopra Jonas with a post on Twitter, nothing in the tweet, "THANK YOU Amazon Studios for assembling such a dream team. Excited to get to work on Heads of State with Idris Elba and welcome the newest cast member, the world renowned Priyanka Chopra Jonas!"

It's clear that the powers that be at Amazon Studios are big fans of Priyanka Chopra Jonas. This casting comes in anticipation of her starring role alongside Rob Madden in Citadel, which is set to premiere on Prime Video on April 28. Ahead of the show's premiere, it's already been given a renewal order for a second season, ensuring Chopra Jonas will be sticking around for a while at Prime Video. Chopra Jonas, after recently appearing in the Netflix movie The White Tiger, is also set to appear in the upcoming movie Love Again.
