"True Detective" creator Nic Pizzolatto will make his feature film directorial debut with the drama "Easy's Waltz".

Vince Vaughn will play a struggling crooner and comedian trying to find his way through the minefield of modern Las Vegas with other entertainers who have crawled the Strip for decades. Michelle Monaghan, Al Pacino and "Red Rocket" star Simon Rex round out the cast. Nic Pizzolatto will write the screenplay with Margot Hand as producer.

Vaughn and Monaghan are reuniting on Easy's Waltz after recently wrapping the first season of the Apple TV+ drama series Bad Monkey from Ted Lasso creator Bill Lawrence. Pacino just wrapped production on Knox Go Away, directed by Michael Keaton. Rex is coming off Red Rocket, which won him an Indie Spirit Award.

No release has been announced, and further details are yet to be revealed, but this will be the second time Pizzolatto and Vaughn have teamed up, following the latter's starring role in season 2 of "True Detective".
