HDTV Coming To The PC

Fremont, CA-based InterVideo announced Monday that it is partnering with Intel to deliver interactive high-definition television to personal computers.

In a statement, InterVideo exec Joe Monastiero said that the two companies will produce "one of the first convergence products that will enable consumers to not only view HDTV, but also to interact with the content for a more enriched and compelling experience." Monastiero did not indicate when he expected the product to be available or what it will cost.
