The Limo Man, in which Melanie Griffith was to play Julia Roberts in a true story about Roberts' relationship with an Irish chauffeur and his family after she split up with Kiefer Sutherland in 1991, is back on track, according to the online site Showbiz Ireland.
Pre-production of the movie reportedly was halted in September when financing fell through, but Griffith's husband, Antonio Banderas, is said to have raised the necessary cash to complete it. The director of the film, Barry Devlin (All Things Bright and Beautiful) said Thursday, "I can confirm that filming will begin next March. The film is just parked at the moment."
