Talks between the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the Association of Talent Agents (ATA) collapsed Wednesday, sending a wave of confusion throughout Hollywood over how actors will be represented if the basic agreement between the union and the agents is not renewed. Under terms of the old agreement (in effect for some 60 years), actors and their agents will retain the same relationship for the next 15 months. But, in interviews with the trade papers, neither side would speculate about what would happen after that. "We are in uncharted waters," SAG spokesman Greg Krizman told Daily Variety.
