Actress ANJELICA HOUSTON can only now talk about her dramatic break up with JACK NICHOLSON - because at the time it felt like "a death in the family".

The veteran ADDAMS FAMILY star split with the charismatic actor in 1990 when he got waitress REBECCA BROUSSARD pregnant - and Houston is only now over the shock of her split with her lover of sixteen years. She says, "I felt like there was a death in the family - what I'd been through was that bad.

There was terrible abandonment, terrible loneliness. Somehow Jack symbolised a whole life for me - he was my family." But now Houston, who starred with Nicholson in 1985's PRIZZI'S HONOUR, is happily married to sculptor ROBERT GRAHAM. She says, "I am happy now.
