Sexy singer MADONNA insists the return of '80s fashion is worrying her - because she no longer looks good as a "ragamuffin".

And while designers like ANNA SUI, MARC JACOBS and DOLCE & GABBANA are revisiting the MATERIAL GIRL's earlier fashion days in the current eighties fashion craze, she isn't going to jump on the bandwagon any time soon.

She explains, "I have tried several pieces from Marc Jacobs' collection. And while I think they look fab on the models, they look silly on me. I guess that means I'm not supposed to repeat myself." She adds, "It's very strange to see the style I wore in the '80s being worn by incredibly glamorous women on the runway. "When I look back at the way I dressed, I think I looked part vagabond and part ragamuffin. I've spent the past 10 years being slightly embarrassed by it, so it's confusing to see it being celebrated."
