Travolta, Brando Friendship Grows
Hollywood actors JOHN TRAVOLTA and MARLON BRANDO, have their friendship based on a rare bond - their appreciation of imitation.
Original GREASE star Travolta portrayed Brando in a skit on American comedy show SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE several years ago that parodied the CNN talk show LARRY KING LIVE.
When the two eventually met face-to-face, Brando praised the PULP FICTION actor for his accurate mimicry. Travolta says, "Every time he sees me he brings it up and laughs about it. "Maybe it's a prejudice for me, but I always think the greatest actors are the ones who are playful, who are childlike." Travolta, 46, says he was introduced to THE GODFATHER star by fellow actor SEAN PENN. (RGS/WNWCFU/PDD)
