De Niro Scores Hat-Trick
Hollywood legend ROBERT DE NIRO scored a box office hat-trick as his movie MEET THE PARENTS came top of the American weekend (21/22OCT00) cinema chart for the third week running.
The family relations comedy, co-starring BEN STILLER, hammered competition from three new top-spot contenders. Meet the Parents made $16.3 million (£11.2 million) between Friday and Sunday, boosting its total earnings to $81 million (£56 million).
