Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly negotiations to star in a new untitled film from filmmaker Guy Ritchie at Miramax.The project is tipped to be Gyllenhaal and Ritchie's next film and is expected to shoot at the end of the year, with Ritchie set to write and direct.
The project is said to fit into Ritchie's visual style in the vein of his other three recent Miramax films like "The Gentlemen", "Wrath of Man" and the upcoming "Operation Fortune" in January.
Gyllenhaal continues to be one of the busiest stars in Hollywood on multiple fronts starting with his Netflix thriller The Guilty. The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival with Gyllenhaal earning another strong round of reviews for his performance.
Guy Ritchie's next release is the unfortunately titled "Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre", which reteams him with Jason Statham and is coming to theaters on January 21, 2022.
Statham made his feature film debut in Ritchie's directorial debut, "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", and he would take on a larger role as the trench-coated Turkish in "Snatch", upstaging Brad Pitt.
