Owen Wilson is set to star in family action-comedy Secret Headquarters for Paramount and Jerry Bruckheimer.

The high-concept project follows "a kid who discovers the secret headquarters of the world’s most powerful superhero hidden beneath his home and must defend it with his group of friends when villains attack.". Details behind who Wilson would be playing are unknown.

Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman, who recently helmed the Netflix feature Project Power, will direct from a script they wrote with Josh Koenigsberg, based on a story by Christopher Yost.

Wilson is best known for his leading performances in films such as Behind Enemy Lines, Marley and Me, Midnight in Paris, Wedding Crashers, How Do You Know, I Spy, The Big Year, Night at the Museum films, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and The Royal Tenenbaums. The latter earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay. He will also next be seen in Universal Pictures' romantic comedy pic Marry Me starring opposite Jennifer Lopez which is set to debut on February 11, 2022.
