OJ SIMPSON's publicist MIKE GILBERT is sick of his job - because everyone hates him more than his client.

The pal, who has stood by the shamed actor's side throughout allegations that he killed his wife NICOLE and the court case which found him not guilty, admits his life is miserable.

He says, "I wake up in the middle of the night feeling like people are standing on my chest. I'm miserable, my family's miserable. Everyone else is miserable. But OJ is playing golf three days a week - he's not miserable. "I've lost friends, clients and part of America thinks I'm a moron."
