Following a favorable ruling by a North Carolina court, Court-TV announced Wednesday that it is planning to give intensive coverage, beginning Monday, to the murder trial of former NFL player Rae Carruth, who is charged with plotting to kill his pregnant girlfriend, Cherica Adams.

Adams died one month after an attack on Nov. 16, but the baby survived. The cable network said that four of its daytime programs, Open Court, Trial Heat, Both Sides, and Closing Arguments will be devoted to live coverage of the trial.
