The new Terminator movie has an official title, Terminator: Dark Fate. Last month Producer James Cameron revealed that they did have a working title for the film, which was Dark Fate, but nothing was official.

"We're calling it Dark Fate. So Terminator: Dark Fate. At least that's our working title right now."

Well, that "working title" has now become the official title of the film. So, I guess they couldn't think of a better one.

Though he's directing the "Avatar" films, Cameron is heavily involved in this film that reunites Arnold Schwarzenegger with Linda Hamilton, the original Sarah Connor, and it is the first time the two have been on screen together since "Terminator 2: Judgment Day".

While the plot for the film is unknown, Cameron has promised that it will have a sense of closure to it and align more closely with the events of the second film, as opposed to the subsequent sequels.
