Charlie (Schwimmer), a frustrated, unemployed teacher decides to take revenge on life by embarking on a "fool-proof" blackmailing scheme by joining forces with an unpredictable scammer Gus (Pegg) and his ambitious ex-girlfriend Josie (Eve).
