Munich, August 1972, The Olympics of peace and joy commence, symbolising Germanys post war rehabilitation in the eyes of the international community. But ten days into the games, eight palestinian terrorists from the black september group break in and take eleven israeli athletes hostage, demanding the release of hundreds of political prisoners. As the world watches, the West German Police plan to overpower the raiders.
