Based on the memoir by Elizabeth Wurtzel called Prozac Nation: Young and Depressed in America. Elizabeth (Christina Ricci) fights with depression despite her hectic life as a music critic. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers plays Noah, her college boyfriend, Michelle Williams plays her best friend and Anne Heche plays her psychiatrist.
