On The Nose (2000) - Details

Working in the basement of a medical college, with all the spare human parts, Robbie Coltrane has an Australian aboriginal human head that can pick winning racehorses. Coltrane has to decide whether to use the head to raise the money needed to send his daughter to college, while he hides the head from an Australian official that wishes to give the head a proper burial and an angry bookmaker that hates paying winners. "On the Nose" has a well written script and a great cast. This is a very funny movie shot on location in Ireland. The movie was well received at film festivals in Newport Beach, CA and Palm Springs, CA. By Jim Erwin.
