Accidental Tourist, The (1989) - Details

"Body Heat's" terrific trio, stars William Hurt, Kathleen Turner, and writer/director Lawrence Kasdan reteamed for this emotionally charged version of Anne Tyler's novel about a travel writer(Hurt) who becomes an emotional recluse after his son is murdered. However, he is later brought out of his shell by a kooky, unconventional dog trainer played by Geena Davis, who forces him to revaluate his life and marriage to his long time spouse (Turner).
