When rich, emotionless successful business- man Edward picks up hooker Vivian on Hollywood Boulevard, little more than a night of debauchery is expected. After the first evening together, Edward begins to see depth in the trashy beauty - realising his emotional needs could be satisfied by the beautiful prostitute, he asks her to stay for a week.
