American Beauty (1999) - Details

Lester Burnham is a nobody and going nowhere - very quickly. He is sprung into action when he meets his daughter's best friend Angela. Suddenly, Lester is a man on a mission. He starts pumping iron and develops a witty reportoire of one-liners and quits his job whilst in hot pursuit of the lovely Angela. While his life is in a frenzied spin, his wife's life enters self- destruct mode and his daughter's own sexual awakening begins.
