In a last-ditch effort for raise the profile of an ailing TV station, programme director Cynthia Topping concocts the ultimate reality show: one person's life, 24 hours-a-day, LIVE. Ed Pekurny is plucked from obscurity to be the show's star, but he's totally dull and uninspiring. Then, one day, an illicit glance between Ed and his brother's girlfriend suddenly captures the at viewers' attention. The public quickly realise that Ed TV is very real.
