Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is now accepting submissions for its third annual event. The submission deadline for all features, documentaries, shorts, music videos, experimental, children's and animated films of any length and format is January 5, 2005. IFFLA will also spotlight Indian filmmakers crossing boundaries to tell compelling stories of a global perspective. Selected films will screen at the Arclight Cinemas, a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Hollywood April 20-24, 2005. Jury and Audience Choice Awards will be presented in the Best Feature, Documentary and Short film categories. IFFLA is a nonprofit arts organization devoted to nurturing a greater appreciation of South Asian Indian culture by showcasing a selection of films from or about India by Indian and international filmmakers as well as films that reflect diverse perspectives of the Indian Diaspora.
