The Daytona Beach Film Festival seeks to enrich the cultural and cinematic opportunities for the local community through diverse programming.

In addition to showing ground-breaking acclaimed artistic and foreign films, the festival includes a generous selection of ‘true independent’ films from new filmmakers without distribution or ‘named’ talent. Selected works will be give individual attention, complete with listings in our program, website and publicity.

We also encourage filmmakers to attend their screenings in person or via Skype in order to interact with their audience to gain critical feedback regarding how his or her film is being received.
