Grudge 2, The : Movie Review

Oh, those pesky Asian ghosts. Summoned by the unreasonable financial success of its 2004 predecessor, 'The Grudge,' they have returned for its inevitable sequel (the original Japanese franchise, also helmed by director Takashi Shimizu, is currently preparing for a fifth incarnation). As such, they’re up to their old antics again, causing a ruckus with a gaggle of white teenage girls, what with their long black hair, sudden violin shrieks, and that darned croaking sound they’re just so fond of. It’s a shame that what was once fascinatingly silly has now become frustratingly so.
