Admissions stars Lauren Ambrose (“Six Feet Under”) as Evie, an exceptionally bright high school senior with the grades to get into any of the nation’s top universities. However, college holds little appeal for Evie, who is happiest in the cheerful, childlike company of her mentally disabled older sister, Emily (Taylor Roberts), a savant who can recite Shakespeare from memory. But when Evie makes a well-meaning decision to tell a little white lie, she sets in motion a chain of events that will reveal not only her family’s secrets, but her own.
