Don’t be deterred - like his TV series The Awful Truth - Moore’s documentary, which took the Special Jury Prize at Cannes, is highly entertaining and eminently watchable.

Social commentator Moore, who won marksmanship trophies as a teenager, wants to discover why over 11,000 Americans die from shootings every year compared to 100 or less in most countries.
