Biography

LISA BRYER (PRODUCER) heads up Cowboy Films, the successful advertising and music video production company which is now branching into feature films. With Tim Pope, the director with whom she co-founded the company in 1991, she represents such top-name directors as Mike Leigh, Peter O'Fallon and Roger Michell and up-and-coming talent including Simon Delaney. Bryer produced Pope's award-winning short film PHONE (1993) in 1993 and Cowboy Films was associate producer on his feature debut CROW: CITY OF ANGELS, THE (1996). Cowboy's first feature, GOODBYE CHARLIE BRIGHT (2001), directed by Nick Love, is now in post-production, and Bryer is now developing Cowboy's next feature, an adaptation of Giles Foden's novel THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND for FilmFour.
