Biography

MARY CLAIRE HANNAN has established herself as a top costume designer with such diverse films as "Jackie Brown" directed by Quentin Tarantino, the thriller "Urban Legend," and "Hurlyburly," directed by Anthony Drazan.

Hannan began her career in Europe, learning her trade through working for fashion designers from the fashion houses of Cerrutti and Givenchy. She made the transition into film as costume supervisor on Tarantino's "Reservoir Dogs" and then as assistant costume designer on "Pulp Fiction."

As a designer, Hannan created costumes for two segments of "Four Rooms," "Killing Zoe," "Beverly Hills Ninja" and "Celtic Pride." She also recently created costumes for "Music From Another Room," starring Jude Law and Gretchen Mol.
