Biography

MARK RADCLIFFE is a producing partner with Chris Columbus and Michael Barnathan, having served as producer of Stepmom, Mrs. Doubtfire, Nine Months, Jingle All the Way and Bicentennial Man; executive producer of Home Alone 2: Lost in New York; co-producer of Only the Lonely and associate producer and assistant director of Home Alone. He first worked with Columbus on Heartbreak Hotel.

Radcliffe is an executive producer on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, which is now in production in the U.K. under the direction of Chris Columbus.

Radcliffe is a native of Oklahoma and began his film career as assistant director on Francis Ford Coppola's The Escape Artist. He later joined Coppola on Rumblefish and Peggy Sue Got Married.

For John Hughes, Radcliffe was assistant director on She's Having a Baby and Planes, Trains and Automobiles. He also worked as assistant director to Jerry Zucker on Ghost, with Donald Petrie on Mystic Pizza and with Paul Schrader on Light of Day.
