Biography

Ethan Suplee gives another colorful performance as Tuna, George Jung’s best friend who joins him in becoming a 1960s pot dealer in California. He is best known for his roles in Kevin Smith’s offbeat comedies, including the recent Dogma (1999) as well as Chasing Amy (1997) and Mallrats (1995), and most recently starred in a slew of diverse features including the football film Remember The Titans (2000), the raunchy comedy Road Trip (2000), the computer hacker story Takedown (2000) and Tyrone (1999)
.

Suplee has also been seen in such diverse films as Morgan J. Freeman’s Desert Blue (1998), the Sundance Film Festival feature 35 Miles From Nowhere and the controversial American History X (1998).

On television, he co-starred with Eric Stoltz in the 1996 HBO original movie, Don’t Look Back, which was written by Billy Bob Thornton. For portions of three seasons, Suplee was featured as the kind-hearted bully in the ABC series Boy Meets World.

Suplee will next be seen in Ivan Reitman’s Evolution (2001), Nick CassavetesJohn Q (2001) and in Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001).
