JOEL HYNEK won an Academy AwardŽ for Visual Effects Achievement for his work on What Dreams May Come. Among the other awards he has received are a special Academy AwardŽ for Scientific and Technical Design, an Academy AwardŽ nomination for his work on Predator, a BAFTA Award for Visual Effects for Zelig and two Clios. His additional film credits include Judge Dredd, Eraser, Die Hard 3 and Ladyhawke, among others. He also produced, designed and directed the current Columbia Pictures logo.
