Biography

PETER SEGAL, a USC graduate, made his feature film directorial debut with the hit comedy Naked Gun 33-1/3. His most recent film credits include the critically acclaimed My Fellow Americans, starring Jack Lemmon, James Garner, Dan Aykroyd and Lauren Bacall, and the hit comedy Tommy Boy, starring Chris Farley and David Spade.

Segal has had an extensive career directing comedy for TV, and has won eight Emmy Awards, a CableACE Award as Best Director and two National Association of Broadcasters' Service to Children Awards.

In 1995 Segal formed Greenhaven Films, a production company that currently has on its slate another Eddie Murphy vehicle for Imagine and Universal, a remake of The Incredible Shrinking Man, which Segal is writing with Fred Wolf (Tommy Boy). Greenhaven is also developing The Hardy Men for Fox 2000 starring Ben Stiller, as well as other feature projects.
