Biography

Actor, writer and aspiring director, DOUGLAS McFERRAN appeared in Sliding Doors and received a credit as script associate on the film. He is a partner with director Peter Howitt in Power Pictures.

After three years in small roles at Britain's National Theatre Company, McFerran was cast in the West End production of Harold Pinter's "The Homecoming," directed by Sir Peter Hall. He went on to appear in West End productions of two more Pinter plays, "No Man's Land" in 1993 and "Twelve Angry Men," directed by the playwright himself in 1996/7.

McFerran appeared on British television in the popular sitcom, Birds of a Feather and in ten episodes of London's Burning. He used his earnings from the series to finance and direct a short film, Another Man, Another Woman.
